Experience: I’ve been tattooing in shops for 4 years now. I had a traditional apprenticeship in downtown San Antonio and was pushed hard to do better everyday. I started working art based jobs at the age of 15 and have been doing art since I could pick up a pencil at the age of 3.

What’s your favorite style to tattoo: I love to do traditional style tattoos with a realistic twist. Animals and plants are also my favorite. Something bold and creative with a lot of detail and depth. I am a portrait painter and I would love to translate that into tattoos as well.

Who or what inspired you to be an artist: Art is very prominent in my family. My grandfather was a painter. My cousins do art. Even my mom and siblings. It’s something that has always came naturally to me. I got into body mods at the age of 13 and tattooing was always the long term goal. It was a slow burn, but I became what I wanted when the time was right.
